—Hippocrates circa 400 BCE
Good health is important to everyone, whether it is at the forefront of your mind or you take it for granted. Regardless of your occupation, status, gender and lifestyle, everyone wants to look and feel their best!
Nowadays, life is busier than ever, with technology advancing faster than we can keep up. The good news is, we have never lived in a more abundant world, with more information and available products at our fingertips than ever before. Someone with a health goal or concern has access to an assortment of great quality treatments, foods, supplements and gadgets to help them reach their objectives. We are able to live in the north and eat a tropical diet if we want or consume several different nutrients in one sitting that would have taken our ancestors a lifetime to consume, if ever. We are indeed very lucky to be living in such abundant times!
The four pillars of health are universal: a balanced diet, good sleep, exercise and a positive mindset. The wonderful thing about making the four pillars of health a priority in life is that, what is good for your body and mind is also good for your skin, hair and physique. Health is beautiful!
This blog series compliments our shop with articles covering different aspects of the four pillars of health. My posts will explain why each of the four pillars is important for maintaining your overall health and well-being, and how you can integrate these pillars into your own unique lifestyle as I have incorporated them into my own.
I look forward to sharing my journey of health with you!
